I wouldn't change my Arianna's personality or the little girl she is for anything, but to change what autism has done to her and her life - YES! I will never stop fighting or doing all that I can to give her a future and a life that she deserves...the one that has been interrupted by autism.
New supplements, digestive aids and more B12 is ordered and on the way. Do I look forward to the every 3 day injections or the ups and downs that healing her gut, dealing with food allergies, seasonal allergies and the other side effects of the supplements and chelation? Certainly not. But my hope and dream is that another round of treatments over the course of this year can bring about positive movement forward in her ability to think and reason more as well as communicate her feelings and emotions with me using interactive and reciprical speech. One thing that I've learned dealing with this mysterious and frustrating invader called autism...I'm stronger than I ever imagined! I'm a fighter beyond my wildest dreams and I will NEVER stop trying.
